The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) within the Office of Research oversees the policies and programs that support the postdoctoral training experience at UGA.

Postdoctoral Association

The UGA Postdoctoral Assocation (PDA) serves the postdoctoral community at UGA, thereby promoting the university’s research and teaching missions. All UGA postdoctoral scholars are PDA members. Objectives are: enhancing professional development opportunities; enhancing the visibility of postdocs at UGA at the local, national and international levels; serving as the liaison between postdocs and the university adminstration; and advocating for the interests of UGA postdocs.
